I have been practicing law for more than 34 years, both as in house and outside counsel in the oil and gas exploration and production industry. I practiced in firm with about 25 to 40 attorneys for about 18 years and then with a large law firm with about 400 attorneys for seven years. In early 2006, I decided I wanted more flexibility in and control over my practice and my relationship with my clients and became a solo practitioner focusing my practice on oil and gas exploration and production. I enjoy my solo practice and would never go back.

I only started using a Mac in January 2008 and only started using Daylight at the beginning of this year - it has literally changed my practice and my life entirely. I run Daylight on two MacBook Pro computers (one is my main computer - the other is for travel) and a mini mac for the Daylight Touch server. I back up to MozyPro. I am now confident that I have control over my practice and that things will not slip through the crack. Because I try to run a paperless office and use e-mail extensively, the e-mail integration allows me set up tasks, schedule appointments seamlessly without ever having to return to the e-mail. Read is once, schedule appointments or tasks and file it and you are done all in one easy step. This has given me more time for myself, my wife and my grandchildren. I have just added the Billings feature that integrates with Daylight and can see already that it will simplify my billing even more.
What were you using before Daylite?	Before I switched to Mac I was using TABS3 for management and billing. I then switched to LawStream. After I got started on Daylight I began using it for practice management. Now I am moving my billings function to Daylight, because the billiings program is integrated with Daylight so you only have to enter client information once and you can bill tasks from either Daylight or from Billings.
Why did you choose to work with MacAngel?	MacAngel is priceless - you can't go wrong with her assistance. She is the Best!!! Knows her stuff, friendly and patient and always helpful beyond belief. Thank you Marni. What really sold me on MacAngel was watching the videos. They are really a helpful resource, but I now know there is nothing better than scheduling an online session with MacAngel.

What did we do for you and why would you recommend customers to MacAngel?
MacAngel helped me online with implementation and set up of Daylight Touch and Billings. The videos are a constant resource for me. If you consider how much your time is worth in terms of billings you will improve your productivity at a reasonable cost by using MacAngel's videos and 1 on 1 Training. End result more control over your practice and your life through Mac Angel and Daylight Yesterday, I finished my second online session using go to meeting to update my Daylight to Snow Leopard and to install Billings and get some training. Earlier MacAngel helped me set up Daylight Touch. Early next year I will schedule a session for MacAngel to help me clean up my database to make it easier to use. I now wish I had scheduled an online session when I was getting started with Daylight. Even so, the videos are very helpful. I recommend viewing the videos and then scheduling as session - then Marni will be able to help you with specific questions.
What do you use Daylite for now?	My entire law practice and life management.
